Utah Queer Film Festival (UQFF) has summoned the power of ancient practices, modern legends, and gender-bending hereafters to conjure a singular collection of films and experiences for this year’s festival. Our theme of “Queer Films, Queer Futures” pushes beyond the boundaries of convention and bodily limits to envision landscapes not yet imagined—but worth fiercely defending. Queer stories and storytellers have always been timeless. UQFF invites you to spend a moment with us and carry it with you for a lifetime.

The Festival returns November 6–8, 2026 with a total of 35 LGBTQIA+ independent films, bringing together a compelling lineup of carefully curated stories that spotlight filmmakers locally, nationally, and internationally. As a program of Utah Film Center, the festival showcases a bold lineup of queer storytelling while creating a dedicated space for audiences and filmmakers to experience independent cinema together.

For the first time, all Utah Queer Film Festival in-person screenings, Q&As, and artist performances will take place at Utah Film Center’s Geralyn White Dreyfous building in Salt Lake City’s Marmalade District, giving UQFF a dedicated home for its growing community of filmmakers and film lovers. Select films will also be available virtually November 9–15, 2026, virtual titles will be announced closer to the Festival.
